We strive to publish 2-3 review articles in each issue of AJNR. Two of them are generally related to clinical/medical neuroradiology while one is deals with the physics pertaining to the imaging techniques that we currently employ or will soon become available. In addition, occasionally we have articles appearing under the heading of ‘research perspectives’. The latter are intended to provide our readers with a glimpse into the future of neuroradiology by commenting on activities/topics that at this point in time are at the research stage and to guide future research. Obviously, publishing over 30 of such articles every year requires enormous contributions from neuroradiologists. If you (or someone you know) are interested in writing one of these articles, please contact me directly. We have several review articles in the preparatory stage and would like to avoid duplication of topics.
