Beginning this month AJNR starts its “Go Green” campaign.  We ask ASNR members to voluntarily drop their print subscription of AJNR.  At AJNR it is our desire to reduce our environmental footprint.  Reducing the number of print subscriptions not only saves on the obvious (paper and byproducts of its manufacturing, ink, postage) but in other less visible aspects of its publication (fuel used for trees to travel to mill, from mill to printer and from post office to your mail box).

Reducing print circulation will provide savings intended for expanded electronic features and increasing the contents (page- or number-wise).  Going green is the easiest way to accomplish these objectives.

One aspect of our Journal no longer can serve or please all of our subscribers like it did in the past. That is why at ajnr.org you find other activities including: publication ahead of print, case of the week, question of week, podcasts (upcoming) and special collections.  Additionally, electronic contents include tables, videos, letters and book reviews not found in print.  Your opinion about AJNR content and other issues may also be posted on ajnrblog.org.

No need to worry about when a new issue comes out.  Electronic tables of contents are sent directly to your email address days in advance of when the print issue reaches you now.  Going green is easy: just go to www.ajnr.org/cgi/feedback type ‘go green’ in the subject line, give us your email address and we will take care of the rest!
