Schoenberg MR, Scott JG, eds. The Little Black Book of Neuropsychology: A Syndrome-Based Approach. Springer 2010, 968 pages, $79.95.
This Little Black Book of Neuropsychology is not so little. It is a hardcover 968-page summary of neurological issues of key importance to Psychiatry and Psychology. Interestingly, it contains abundant material pertaining to neuroimaging including chapters on neuroanatomy, aphasia, executive function/frontal lobe syndromes, a large chapter on CV disease and stroke (90 pages well done), dementia and cognitive disorders, seizures, movement disorders, brain tumors, and brain injury. There are, of course, other chapters, but the ones mentioned above have direct connection with neuroradiology. While this is a book which the readers of the AJNR would not purchase personally, it is good to know that our colleagues in psychology and psychiatry are more involved than ever in neuroimaging.
