The VA Boston Healthcare System is recruiting for a full time Diagnostic Radiologist at the West Roxbury campus of the VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) who has completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology. Strong body imaging skills, board certification or board eligibility and neuro CAQ are preferred. The Diagnostic Radiology services desired include, but are not limited to, neuroradiology imaging and basic neuro procedures, cross-sectional body imaging and general radiology. The Boston VA is a 467-bed facility located on three campuses in the Boston metropolitan area. The department is film less. Installed equipment includes 1.5T and two 3T MRI scanners, and three multi-detector CT scanners, PET/CT, two IR suites, and a wide array of ultrasound and rad/fluoro equipment. The Boston VA is affiliated with Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine, and appointments can be made to either school. The Radiology residency program is integrated with Boston Medical Center, and resident teaching and research are integral parts of the department’s mission.
WORK SCHEDULE : Full time, M-F 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
NOTE : Selectee may be required to work at any Boston Healthcare System campus, as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
– Must be a US citizen or permanent resident;
– Degree of Doctor of Medicine
– Â Full, active, current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, territory or commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia;
– English language proficiency;
– Designated and/or Random Drug Testing required
– Background and/or Security Investigation required
– Completion of a neuroradiology fellowship.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
– BE/BC in Radiology
– Neuro CAQ completion
– excellent body imaging skills strongly preferred.
The qualifications of such personnel shall also be subject to review by the VABHS Chief of Staff and approval by the VABHS Facility Director.
