The American Journal of Neuroradiology is pleased to announce Vivek Yedavalli, MD, MS, as our ninth Editorial Fellow.
Dr. Yedavalli holds a BS degree in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University, MS in Public Health/Molecular Biology from Columbia University, and MD from Wright State University, Boonshoft School of Medicine, in Dayton, Ohio. He completed his radiology residency at the Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago, followed by a fellowship in neuroradiology and neurointervention at Stanford University. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Director of Stroke Imaging. Among his many awards are the Roentgen Research Award from the RSNA and the AUR-ACR Research Scholar Award. Dr. Yedavalli has authored or coauthored more than 15 manuscripts and serves as a reviewer for multiple journals. He has a particular interest in improving neuroimaging for patients with conditions such as stroke, stroke mimics, and perfusion-related disorders.
During this Editorial Fellowship, he will participate in all AJNR activities including, but not limited to, manuscript evaluation and selection, editorial-related research, and conferences. The AJNR family is very pleased to welcome Dr. Yedavalli.
