The VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) is recruiting for a full time, fellowship trained Neuroradiologist at the West Roxbury campus for the position of Chief of Neuroradiology. ABR board certification or board eligibility is required and neuroradiology CAQ is preferred. The Diagnostic Radiology service skills desired include, but are not limited to, neuroradiology imaging and basic neuro procedures. Cross-sectional body imaging and general radiology skills are helpful but not required. VABHS is a 467-bed facility located on three campuses in the Boston metropolitan area. The department is filmless and it provides telaradiology services for several other VA New England Healthcare System facilities. Installed equipment includes 1.5T and two 3T MRI scanners, three multidetector CT scanners, PET/CT, two IR suites, and a wide array of ultrasound and rad/fluoro equipment. A VABHS research neuroimaging center supports well-funded programs in traumatic brain injury, PTSD, and cognitive neuroscience and collaborates closely with the Martinos Center at Massachusetts General Hospital. VABHS is affiliated with Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine, and appointments can be made to either school. The Radiology residency program is integrated with Boston Medical Center, and resident teaching and research are integral parts of the department’s mission.

Basic Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
- Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
