This award is named for the late AJNR Senior Editor who championed its establishment and recognizes the best original research paper accepted in 2015. The winning paper, submitted by authors from the University of Heidelberg, German Cancer Research Centre, and University of Hamburg, was published electronically on October 22, 2015 and appeared in the January print issue. It was selected by a vote of the Journal’s Editor-in-Chief and Senior Editors.
