The American Journal of Neuroradiology is pleased to announce Matthew D. Alvin, MD, as our eighth Editorial Fellow.
Dr. Alvin holds a BS degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and MS, MA, and MD degrees from Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Alvin completed his radiology residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, and he is currently a Neuroradiology Fellow at The Johns Hopkins Department of Radiology. Among his many awards are an RSNA William Olmsted Editorial Fellowship and an AMA Physician of Tomorrow Award. Dr. Alvin has authored or coauthored over 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts and participated in research at multiple institutions including Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, the University of Florida, the Cleveland Clinic, and Johns Hopkins. Dr. Alvin has a particular research interest in cost-effectiveness analyses and quality of life outcomes.
During this Editorial Fellowship, he will participate in all AJNR activities including, but not limited to, manuscript evaluation and selection, editorial-related research, and conferences. The AJNR family is very pleased to welcome Dr. Alvin.
